Welcome . . . and thank you for taking the time to visit.

I don’t know about you, but being an avid reader myself, I love finding out more about the authors I read. There’s a connection that's made between an author and his readers through the characters in his novels. I’ve often e-mailed authors to let them know how much I’ve enjoyed reading their books. As an author, I know how important it is to receive feedback from readers. I enjoy getting the chance to talk with them and hear their thoughts about a book. Communication is a powerful tool.

The question I get asked most often is, “what made you choose to write Christian fiction?” Actually, I didn’t choose it, it chose me. I write what I enjoy reading. I like stories with action, suspense, romance, characters with faults and flaws, and though not always a cookie-cutter ending, a story that draws me in until the very last page. In a word, “escapism”, a chance to step away from my world and into the lives of others.  Because I am a Christian, it's only natural that my faith and morals surface in my characters.

That doesn't mean my characters always make the right choices or say the right things.  They are still human, which opens them up to temptation, rebellion, and even at times, self-destructive behavior.  My goal in writing characters with issues isn’t to highlight their shortcomings, but to show how God understands our humanness and is waiting for the time when we realize we can no longer live life on our own. I think struggles are what define a person. They will either allow themselves to be consumed by the obstacles of life, or finally take hold of their faith and cling to the hope that God offers them. I like to think of my characters as a work in progress.

I love the journey I get to take when I write.  I hope you enjoy the journey as well.
     Blessings~
